Then, take a 20 minute guided tour of the Capitol. It’s only twenty minutes long and you get to explore the only replica building with some original artifacts and artwork from the original previous capitols that burned down. Then, go to Duke of Gloucester Street where you can find some trade shops and learn about 18th Century American life. We highly recommend visiting the blacksmith, armory, wig shop, and apothecary shops.
Along this street you’ll also find Merchants Square which has more than 40 dining options. So, grab a quick bite to eat here.
